The Challenge
We want to elevate the IWC digital product display into something more than just images or basic 360 spin. Our goal is to let potential buyers feel the craftsmanship of their watches online - free to explore every details, materials, finishes and variants in a way that rivals physical inspections.
We want this luxury experience to inspires confidence and stands apart in the watch category
The Solution
With our vision for IWC's 3D experience centred on turning every watch into an interactive, tactile moment online. We anchored on two design levers:
High-fidelity 3D rendering and material realism: each watch model, metal finish, dial texture, bracelet option - all visualized with photorealistic details
Interactive hotpots & variant switching: allow users to tap into parts of the watch (crown, case, dial, strap) to learn about materials or features. Plus real time switching of color / metal / strap variants
